Tucson Guide

I am tickled that one of my photos has been selected for inclusion in the newly released fourth edition of the Schmap Tucson Guide:

Mission San Xavier del Bac

They found me on Flickr and asked me to submit the photo. Sorta cool, no? I wish I had known about this site when I was going to Tucson. But, now you do. Hurry go click and see.

Great picture of the mission. It's a beautiful, spiritual place and you captured it. Congrats. PamH

Wonderful. It has a Greek feel to me. I would not have guessed the US. Maybe it is the blue and white.

I have a home in Tucson and have been visiting San Javier del Bac since 1974. The "White Dove of the Desert" has been a spiritual mecca for so many, as well as a movie location for hundreds of films.
Whenever I drive to Mexico, I stop there. Thank you for reminding me that I do not go there enough. I am booking a flight for May, and dropping in on my father! Mark A.

Movies. Huh! Maybe that is why it looked so familiar. I love the desert. You are so lucky to have a house here.
